Soken was founded in November 1970 as a joint research institute for 11 companies of the Toyota Group, with the aim of responding to societal demands relating to vehicle safety and pollution prevention.
Since 1985, we have been funded by DENSO CORPORATION and TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION, and our major areas of research cover the fields of power train, fuel cells, power electronics, electronics & telecommunications, and heat apparatus.
